This week summer made its debut. The sun came out and the heat is on! So we have been out working hard to get the kids to crash. Wednesday we did the beach for hours, Thursday we hit up the Ladera Water Park and then Friday we hit up the fair. We were looking for this result:
Well we wet on opening day of the fair. There was free parking and admission and $1 rides, games and food samples. We waited in this line to get in:

We went to the barns and Brooklyn loved the animals, but she was a little timid around them. I caught this picture just as the pig moved. Check out the look on her face!

How fun! You're making me sad I missed it this year, but there was no way. With the heat Barb & my Mom decided not to go, so kaleb didn't even go without me. You're brave to go with how hot it was! Also...you don't really need to wait in line, you can just walk in with everyone else if you wait until after they open the gates. We figured that out the hard way last year. Brooklyn is so cute...I LOVE her rolls!
Looks fun! I didn't realize it was so cheap- We went there Sat. thinking we'd go to the swap meet for the first time only to find out the fair is going and there is no swap meet. Jeff said- "shall we go to the fair instead" ...and we both said "eh, it's prob. expensive" - little did we know! Maybe we'll have to hit it up now! Thanks for the review:)
that is so fun, we are going to head over next wed. for the book drive. I am excited I have never been to the oc fair, lol...this should be good right??? call me...818-450-4844 to come up and have a playdate and go swimming!! we are free all next week, except wednesday...
